Although much improved over the original design, the newer Jeep Wrangler steering shaft assembly was not designed to handle the added stresses placed on it by plowing, towing, body lifts, oversize tires, and the popular sport of rock crawling. The steering flex joints will not last when subjected to these stresses and will soon fail. BORGESON has developed a heavy-duty telescoping shaft assembly similar to the CJ with two precision needle bearing u-joints and a vibration reducer that will handle all the torture you can give it.

Wrangler shaft assemblies are easy to install with common hand tools and about a half hour of your time. After installation, you will notice a tighter, more responsive steering that puts both safety and fun back into your Jeep.
